The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-e is available in four trim levels:

• Mustang Mach-e Select
• Mustang Mach-e Premium
• Mustang Mach-e California Route 1

Performance

The Ford Mustang Mach-e Select is the entry-level version, and the Ford Mustang Mach-e Premium represents the first upgrade in luxury features. The Ford Mustang Mach-e Select and Ford Mustang Mach-e Premium models employ rear-wheel drive with a single motor. The California 1 is available in all-wheel and rear-wheel drive configurations. The Ford Mustang Mach-e GT and Ford Mustang Mach-e GT Performance Edition only feature all-wheel drive.

Hackettstown shoppers will choose between a 70-kWh battery pack or an extended-range version rated at 91-kWh. Each trim also includes increasingly aggressive tuning. The lower trims with rear-wheel drive achieve more than 260 horsepower. The top trims in the all-wheel drive setup can generate as much as 480 horsepower and an astounding 634 foot-pounds of torque.

Notably, the company abandoned lithium-ion batteries in the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-e model year for the 70-kWh setup. That year and the 2024 version employ a lithium-iron-phosphate battery that adds a little range and lowers the production cost and sale price. With the rear-wheel drive edition, Sparta, NJ, drivers should expect an EPA-estimated 250 miles of range on a single charge. The all-wheel drive configuration with the standard battery will manage closer to an EPA-estimated 225 miles. The extended-range battery achieves an EPA-estimated range of over 300 miles.

Exterior and Interior

Any vehicle worthy of the Ford Mustang nameplate must look sporty and aggressive. The Ford Mustang Mach-e stands out in the compact SUV and electric vehicle classes as a sharp, aero-cut ride. The rear gate features a sizeable spoiler that improves aerodynamics and adds visual fierceness. Ford even offers a Rally edition of the Ford Mustang Mach-e that achieves a downright Shelby-like acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds.

Amid all the sporty talk, it's easy to forget that the Ford Mustang Mach-e has a hatchback-style trunk. It provides 29 cubic feet of cargo room. The rear seats also fold for more cargo space when Hopatcong drivers need it. The Ford Mustang Mach-E has a front trunk like its other electric vehicles. The engineers included a drain hole in the frunk so you can use it as a basin or water cooler.

Technology

Such a modern car would only be right with many technological features. Every Ford Mustang Mach-e features a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster.
